Who would have thought that the best Bloody Mary in Sydney would be found at a café. But this is no ordinary café not only is the food and spectacular but the first item on the breakfast menu is the Bloody Mary ;).

The drink has a double shot of vodka in it (just the thing for a sat/sun morning recovery drink). It also has just the right amount of heat to keep the drink interesting and most importantly the drink comes with a celery stick

So it gets 4.5 celery sticks from me.

UPDATE: 4 celery sticks from LKP, i thought it could have been hotter, but still very nice!

ArtHouse

This would have to be the best traditional bloody mary i have ever had. It scores points for heat output, the friendly staff and most importantly the price. $10 (2 cocktails for $20 deal) on a mondays between 5-7pm. The only fault i could find was that it did not come with celery :(

DOXA - Bondi Beach

DOXA used to be called Mushu and was a fantastic place to grab a quick cocktail. Unfortunately it appears that time has not treated the place well. It looks run down and 'used'. Also the quality of the cocktails has fallen dramatically. Unfortuntately, a Bloody Mary could not be summoned as they have run out of tomato juice. And Vodka?!?!

The Loft

The Loft's offering was quite good. I personally wouldn't have chosen paprika for the rim-job, none-the-less, it contained a smooth well blended tomoato juice, as well as plenty of vodka. I couldn't really taste the tabasco sauce. Cucumber instead of a celery stick was an interesting touch. Definately not prepared by native indians, the didnt use the whole fruit. I also recommend the Long Island Ice Teas on offer here.
